The CIM Level 6 Diploma in Professional & Digital Marketing is designed for marketers in senior roles. Successful completion of the diploma will establish the knowledge, skills and understanding you need to be able to perform within the position of a ‘Marketing Manager’ and to carry out an essential and successful professional marketing role within the workplace.

The CIM Level 6 Diploma in Professional & Digital Marketing has 4 modules and takes approximately 12 months to complete. By taking one additional module, you can gain the CIM Extended Diploma in Professional & Digital Marketing.

One or more of the following is required to gain entry onto this qualification:

  • CIM Level 4 Professional Certificate in Marketing or CIM Level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing or CIM Level 4 Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing.
  • Any relevant Level 4 qualification
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, with at least one-third of credits coming from marketing content (i.e. 120 credits in Bachelor’s degrees or 60 credits with Master’s degrees)
  • Professional practice (suggested two years of marketing in an operational role) and diagnostic assessment.

The assessment methodology for all modules at this level are Onscreen assessments utilizing either Multiple Choice Testing or Scenario-driven short and extended answer response tests. All assessments are employer- driven, practitioner-based, relevant, and appropriate for business needs.

Strategy and Planning (Mandatory)

Explore brand management, equity, and purpose in relation to customers, stakeholders, and society. Focus on brand innovation and reputation management in the digital age.

Learn to evaluate customer journey stages using data-driven approaches. Develop strategies for creating seamless, personalized experiences that foster satisfaction, loyalty, and advocacy.

 

Societal Impact

Understand sustainability concepts and organizational change needed to address social and environmental challenges. Learn to engage stakeholders and build partnerships to drive awareness and action.

 

Commercial Intelligence
